Fundamental analysis and news Trading is a broad concept

we study technical s a lot and try to find a wholygrail Trading system

all indicators are based on price and volume

price has only 4 datas open high low close

thats all the numbers

most indicators are based on some kind of moving average

so most are lagging ..have whipsaws false signals or not worked in real time as on back test

100-200 years have passed but none of the Trading system could be perfect

yes it cannot be

market is not driven by magical indicators or systems

in forex

we buy a currency against other

actually we buy a strong economy against weaker economy

or we sale the weaker (worse) economy and buy the strong (good) economy

maximum traders afraid to study fundamentals of forex Trading

they yet not know what is risk aversion and what is risk apetite

but they can easily say Dollar broke a resistance or support

because 80% of internet is flooded with falsified information on forex

Technical traders and gurus will tell you do not trade NFP NEWS( Non Farm pay roll)

Actually its the GOLD MINE in forex Trading

NON Farm Payroll REPORT COMES EVERY MONTHS 1st FRIDAY

Its the best economic news of USA

In 5 min USD JPY USD CHF AND EURO USD moves 70 PIPS in this news

and based on the data the currency might move in favor of the news wholse usa session and next week also

what is the deviation

deviation is 70K

so lets say if nfp forecast is 300 k

and actual comes 370k you will buy USD

and actual comes 230k you will sell USD

if the deviation is not hit you will sell buy based on market reaction

wait 5 min to understand what is going on

what might be outcome of this news get out as soon you secure 20 pips

you can search for historical charts of non Farm payroll

and what non Farm Payroll actually means and what other news in red comes with this release and how to gauge them

The rate of consumer price index (CPI) inflation increased to 2.7% in May, up from 2.4% in April, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) said.
The ONS said the rise was mainly due to increased transport costs, particularly an increase in airfares.
Airfares rose by 22% between April and May, the highest increase between those two months since comparable records began in 2001.
The Bank of England has said it expects inflation to exceed 3% this year.

U.K. authorities have charged former UBS and Citigroup trader Tom Hayes with fraud for allegedly attempting to rig global benchmark interest rates.

The Serious Fraud Office, which prosecutes cases of complex fraud, said Hayes has been charged by police Tuesday with eight counts of conspiracy to defraud following its year-long investigation into the manipulation by banks and brokers of the London Interbank Borrowed Rate, or Libor.
Libor is a collection of rates set by a panel and used as a benchmark for securities worth trillions of dollars globally.

I am testing EA called Independent. I found it a few months ago on this forum. Here is backtest this EA on EUR/USD M5 timeframe. What do You think about this results? Hello, i'm searching an EA really simple.
But i don't know if it exists or not.

buy when the price close above an EMA
sell when the price close below an EMA.

The best of will be the BreakEven when an order is open...

i tried to search but i can find only EAs with 2 EMA and open orders at the cross.

GetTickCount is for using a millisecond timer. Change "GetTickCount" to "FileOpen". Also, delete the leading parenthesis.

Hi All..

I thought that i would start posting my live results of testing. I have put together a basic strategy that i am trialing with various EA's

Firstly the ea must pass 99% back-test, I will then put it to work on a live cent account. I will try to post as much information as i possibly can about the system i am using, including the tests etc.

As i have no skill in programming and have taken a lot of info from this site hopefully some of you will find it useful!

The Japanese Yen held near a two-month high against the Dollar and the Euro in early Asian trade Monday, amid market hysteria and confusion over when and how the US Federal Reserve (FED) will begin to scale down its massive stimulus program. USD/JPY opened at the same level as it ended in New York on Friday, where the Dollar bought 94.23 Yen. Since the opening, Yen has weakened to 94.77. EUR/USD trades steady at 1.3322 as French President Holland’s Socialist party asks for a weaker Euro.

The Dollar lost momentum during volatile sessions last week, which saw sharp moves in the Yen and emerging market currencies. Stronger retail sales and lower weekly jobless claims released last Thursday, helped the green back rise from months of lows. Negative consumer confidence figures published on Friday effected, however, USD negatively. The Dollar index, weighed against a basket of currencies, are at a four month low. Both Euro and GBP are at their strongest level against the Dollar since February.

Oil prices rallied to a two month high after Washington’s announcement that it would provide arms to Syrian rebel groups. New York Crude, NYMEX, trades at USD 97.63 a barrel and Brent is above 105. The Syrian crisis going to be at the top of the agenda when the G-8 meets today. The Syrian civil war is threatening the stability in neighboring Countries such as Jordan, Iraq, Lebanon and Turkey, and challenges Israel’s security as well. The conflict threatens to develop into a regional Russia/US proxy war also directly involving Iran.

In a price analysis Barclay’s bank is forecasting crude oil prices to retrace to USD 111 a barrel, taking supply shortfalls as well as geopolitical tensions into consideration. The Bank estimates supply shortfalls from OPEC (Organization of Oil Producing Countries) to be 2 million barrels a day or equal to Germany’s oil imports. Libyan oil output has fallen below 1m barrels a day due to protests at oil fields and terminals. Nigeria’s output has fallen due to theft-related damage to pipelines.

This EA is a modified and updated version of my well known EA "Momods Night Scalper". It has gone through major changes and developments that is summarized below:
